- Step 1: Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Step 2: Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook until browned, stirring occasionally, for about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, mirin, and sugar until well combined. Pour this mixture over the cooked beef and stir to coat.
- Step 4: Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Step 5: Serve the cooked beef over a bowl of warm rice.
- Step 6: Top with chopped shiso leaves, sliced green onions, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Enjoy immediately!
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm it up in a skillet or microwave, adding a splash of water to keep the rice moist.
