  • 4 cups chrysanthemum greens washed and trimmed
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cucumber cucumber thinly sliced
  • 1/4 red onion red onion thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce for dressing
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar for dressing
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil for dressing
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup for dressing

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the chrysanthemum greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Give it a gentle toss to mix.
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey or maple syrup, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.
  4. Step 4: Before serving, sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds on top for that extra crunch. Enjoy!
