Cranberry Brie Bites

Ingredients
  

For the Cranberry Brie Bites
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 8 oz Brie cheese cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash
Fresh herbs
  • rosemary or thyme for garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 2-inch squares.
  3. Step 3: Place the squares in a greased mini muffin tin, pressing them gently into the bottom and up the sides.
  4. Step 4: Add a small piece of Brie cheese to each pastry square.
  5. Step 5: Spoon a small amount of cranberry sauce over the Brie in each cup.
  6. Step 6: Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.
  7. Step 7: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
  8. Step 8: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
  9. Step 9: Garnish with fresh rosemary or thyme, if desired, before serving.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
