Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the joshinko and salt. Give it a gentle stir to evenly distribute the salt.
  2. Step 2: Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring continuously until a smooth batter forms.
  3. Step 3: Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Prepare a steamer and line it with parchment paper or a clean cloth.
  5. Step 5: Pour the batter into the lined steamer, spreading it evenly.
  6. Step 6: Cover and steam for approximately 20-25 minutes, until firm and cooked through.
  7. Step 7: Remove from the steamer and let it cool before cutting into desired shapes.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage.
