For the Smoked Chicken Wings
  • 2 lb chicken wings fresh, high-quality
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce for serving

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil until they are evenly coated.
  3. Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle the spice mixture over the wings and toss until they are well coated.
  5. Step 5: Place the seasoned wings on the smoker rack in a single layer.
  6. Step 6: Smoke the wings for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  7. Step 7: Remove the wings from the smoker and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Step 8: Serve with barbecue sauce on the side. Enjoy!
