For the Teppanyaki
  • 1 lb ribeye steak thinly sliced
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb mixed vegetables such as bell peppers, zucchini, and mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for grilling
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cooked rice or noodles
  • Optional: Sliced green onions

Equipment

  • Teppanyaki Grill or Flat Griddle

Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat your teppanyaki grill or flat griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil. Set this flavorful mixture aside.
  3. Step 3: Add the vegetable oil to the grill. Once it’s hot, toss in the sliced ribeye steak. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 2-3 minutes until nicely browned.
  4. Step 4: Next, add the shrimp to the grill and let them cook for another 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. Step 5: Now, add the mixed vegetables and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  6. Step 6: Pour the soy sauce mixture over everything on the grill. Toss to combine and heat through for an additional minute.
  7. Step 7: Serve immediately over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with sliced green onions if desired!
